I bought this believing it to be good for removing stains. Apparently I got it all wrong, and it doesn't do that at all.
We recently tried the laundry booster, as we have a need for killing microbes after leaving a mold remediation situation 6 months ago and my boyfriend's job being behind a meat counter, so we tried this from an ad we saw on social media. We loved that it kills odor (especially handy for meat smells), that it doesn't smell like chlorine or anything when the clothes are dry, and that it kills off the things we react to with prior mold exposures. However, we have had 3 towels stained (almost like it was bleach?), 3 shirts, 2 leggings, and our king flex Sleep Number sheets. Needless to say, we are not happy about all the damage. I guess it just depends on the fabric you use it on, but I never read any warnings about a possible bleaching effect. We never used bleach of any kind in the relevant loads. We have been forced to reduce which loads we use this on instead of running everything with laundry booster included, so that really sucks. I am a hypochlorus gal through and through, but this product is a pass for us (or it should be).
I love hypochlorous products! Glad I can use a laundry booster that is natural and works well!
I got a gallon of this because I was hoping to use it on my teenager boys athletic clothes and musty towels but it got bleach spots on a bunch of clothes so now I only use it on whites and his clothes are back to being stinky.
This is the only product that takes musty smells out of fabrics! Love it!!
